Adhesive goes further with revolutionary BAL Supercover Rapidset
BAL's launch of Supercover Rapidset will spell the end for all other fast-setting tile adhesives. The most revolutionary product in many years, it delivers everything that a fixer expects, but using less product.

Supercover Rapidset offers a wide range of benefits, the result of an intensive research and development programme. As well as all the characteristics of a rapid-setting C1 tile adhesive, it offers easier mixing with better consistency, easier and faster application for reduced working times and excellent bond strength and non-slip properties. Its high frost and water resistance makes it suitable for both interior and exterior use and it can be used with most tile types, including porcelain, in dry or wet environments.
"Fixers will welcome a product which mixes to produce more adhesive," said Alex Underwood, "because the cost saving is only the start of the benefits. It takes up less van or storage space, is cheaper to transport, easier to carry about on site and offers reduced wastage, with unused half-mixes being less likely."
One of the key benefits for fixers is the wide and easy availability of Supercover Rapidset, with 15 kg sacks immediately ready to buy at almost 500 outlets nationwide. Architects and specifiers seeking more environmentally sensitive builds will also welcome this eco-friendly option: more than 10 per cent of the raw materials have been recycled.
"The few other high-yield products," said Alex Underwood, "can be at a very high price, may not be kept in stock at distributors and can offer fewer benefits to adhesive users and specifiers. Simply, a fixer who arrives on site in the morning and uses Supercover Rapidset will be grouting before lunchtime, having used much less product than usual."
